These pieces show a mastery over the process of developing 3d fractals for the digital manufacturing process. I find them intriguing and I respect the work that went into them. They represent mathematical truth and encourage the viewer to question construction and design. It shows mastery of a science the viewer is encouraged to explore. I also look at it as an un-adulteration of subject or medium as well. It is in its purest sense a direct offering of computation. The choice of gold represents purity as well. This is great but not one of my favorites from this artist.

There's some processing in various software, Fiji to transform the Mandelbulb3D voxel slices into a mesh, Meshlab and Netfabb for various corrections and additional operations to prepare to 3D printing. Thanks!
