Summer has officially arrived~!
Sunny, warm and sweet…I love all the sunshine feelings wrapped up in this drawing. Ever since you’ve sent it to me I’ve been starry-eyed and going over each detail, every color, every line over and over… it makes my heart jump with joy each time. It’s so beautiful, Binka!
Muuh I love this, I love them! You know I was so excited when you sent me the preview, asking me about the colors and all. Just that little ‘peek’ had me enchanted…and seeing it completed…I’m going crazy for these designs. They suit them so well, you’re always ‘magic’ when it comes to outfits. I want to share and say much more about these two, but even with what bits you know, you got them…so ‘right’! I want to draw them!
Kazuko…my sweet girl! She would love that outfit, I can easily see her in my mind wearing it as she enjoys the warm summer days (and I know Japan gets very hot this time of year, so even better, yeah?). The colors suit her so well, she reminds me of clear skies, cool waters and sunshine. And, of course, you remember her bandages and all! I’m glad you include them, even in the Christmas picture…it’s not only a reference to her powers, but I feel like it’s a…mark of her personality too. Tough but cute! A few scratches but still smiling and ready to go! And her hair…it looks so beautiful and soft; I want to run my fingers through it and feel.
And again you make Teba look so precious! I love how fluffy and curly his hair comes out when you draw it. I’m talking about hair a lot, but I promise it’s true. I’m incredibly impressed. His clothes are too cute too, I can see them on the beach with their parents maybe on a picnic. Perfect for him to jump into the water when it gets a little too warm! For some reason I’m particularly in love with the stars on his knees. 
I adore how sweet the two of them are…sharing delicious strawberries, a food of Summer. And that watermelon too…it’s all making me so hungry. I want some! Their expressions are too cute, I can’t stop looking at Teba’s especially o w o
Of course we already talked about their bracelets but…this little symbol still makes me so happy. There’s a lot there…and it makes me excited for all the stories to come. Sara, sara, sara~
Thank you, thank you again for this beautiful drawing. Seeing my dear little Yagis, my little birds, in all their colors, it does my heart so much good.
