Rule 64 already beat me to this, and this isn't my own Original Idea of a character, Like Bibly, or Krimsona.

However I strongly Believe, that Trunks... should've been a female in the series, HERE'S WHY!

(Reasons will be presented in the for of bullet points, don't like it, GTFO.)

• Reason 1: Trunks' Story would've made more sense, in terms of Vegeta and her's "relationship" Now somebody has told me this isn't 100% fact, I'm still using this, because I remember from a DBZ discussion video, they mentioned this, so here we go. Originally the female sayians of Planet Vegeta, where not looked at as, warriors, but merely Breeders, even though the Female's did fight, and take place in battles, they weren't mentioned as technical warriors. Making Trunks a woman, would've made Vegeta's attitude towards her, make sense, "Hmp, a female sayian, what a laugh." his Pride would OBVIOUSLY be fucking shattered by the fact, a female Sayian became a super sayain before Vegeta could. Making that who Father daughter, dispute make sense, and then it would make sense when it finally hit's Vegeta when Cell Killed her during the cell games.

•Reason 2: Trunks would've been a more bad ass Character as a female, being a stronge and fully capable warrior, a super sayian, and seeing a female surpass Vegeta would've made room for some really hefty sexist jokes, and comedic relief, adding more depth to Trunks and Vegeta's relationship. plus, imagine the scene where Trunks takes the fight, after Vegeta is beaten by Perfect cell, the moment she became bough, and super powered, would've added more depth to her character, meaning he's not a frilly Girl, she's there to put in end to the androids and Cell. Seeing a bough female sayian would've been really cool to add, knowing that this woman, is in fact a warrior, despite what Vegeta says. In other words. GIRL POWER, BITCHES!

•Reason 3: having a fully capable female warrior would've added a "second dimension" to dragon ball Z's "one dimension" standard, being that only the Men are the fighters. we did get Videl... but c'mon she's human, she's not very effective... when you consider, Sayians, Majins, and aliens with super powers. She's in full honestly, just a female super Hercule. when compared to everything else. don't get me wrong Videl was one of my favorite characters, and still is because she's little bad ass. but again, not effective. but a Kid female Trunks, and Goten, would've been a really cool friendship, as the young boy and Young girl would have their "I can do anything you can do better" scenarios, once again adding more comedic relief, and building strong bonds between the two. Also ship'em and Vegeta and Goku become Brother in laws XD or whatever... they become related by marriage. so yeah.

those are my 3 reasons why, Female Trunks SHOULD'VE been instead JUST ANOTHER MALE FIGHTER! geez, Akira, wtf, Dude?
