Actually, I wanted to go to the mountains. I wanted to photograph stars and snow, I wanted to stand around in the cold and wait at a lake until it was dark enough to see the stars.
But then the weather turned out surprisingly different than predicted. So it came that I landed in the mild climate at Lake Geneva instead of in the snow. And so I took off my jacket, put up my camera and waited. The sky was absolutely cloudless, but shortly after sunset a few veil clouds appeared - exactly at the right moment in the right place and at the right altitude.
