Here show you the first concept of my oc "bunkai ".. and the respective fotus variant helmet I created for this antagonist in HLDWthis is my version of the fotus helmet variant .. I named it the "bunkai" code name "RL00 eye of the storm " .... a secret variant for stealth purposes
I created the helmet inspired in the hannya mask ( i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTM2MlgxNjA… - www.google.com.mx/search?q=han… ) .a cultural icon in Japanese culture .. this helmet like the mask represents the demons inside us .
.I use references from halo 4 helmets and the hannya mask
tools: corel draw x6 ,illust studio and corel photopaint ..

Overall the design and story turned out really awesome Orlando. Both of them seem to have an erie and menacing aura about them, which ties in well with the use Hannya mask. The only issue I have is that you said the prototype was constructed prior to the Generation I Mark V MJOLNIR, which was created in August, 2552. While FOTUS is a Generation 2 armor and was modeled after the Promethean Knights which weren't found until July, 2557. Just wanted to share that in case you're trying to keep it close to actual canon.
