Personality: Callisto Rush is a girl to have on your side. With an open mind and overly erratic imagination, she has been called oblivious by many people. Its not that she is ignorant of her surroundings, it is just that when she focuses she really focuses. Despite popular belief, Kali is always aware of people around her due to her distrusting nature. Her personal belief is that if you don't know someone, smile at them, that way they'll at least feel bad if they end up trying to mug you. Yet, if she were to actually be at the pointy end of someone else's knife her loud string of cursing would help her bluff her way out of it. All in all, a sweet, creative, though secretly bloodthirsty, art school graduate.

Background: Originally from Ohio, Callisto enjoyed a relatively normal childhood. She loved the outdoors but at the age of fourteen her parents divorced. She moved with her mother to south Florida where she attended a private high school. While living in Florida she was able to spread her figurative wings a bit more. She developed a passion for art and began studying earth based religions. After high school she returned to Ohio for college, studying fine art. She graduated a semester early, having spent her summers gaining more credits. Though she cares about her mother and her estranged dad, she didn't connect with them and found it easier to skip summer vacation visits. With almost all of her attention focused on studying and art, she had no time for any kind of romantic relationship, and only a few friends. Well, the joke was on her. When she graduated with a house full of paintings under her belt the worst thing in the world happened, artist block. For months she couldn't even muster up enough enthusiasm to pick up a brush. She ended up working at a kennel and doggie daycare. Six months after graduating, she was attending her friend's wedding in New York state. She really didn't know the name of the city, but it wasn't the most important thing on her mind as she was watching the ceremony and eating at the reception. After the catered food and crumby cake, she headed out to her car to go back to her hotel. It was a longer walk to her car than she had thought, and the street lamps weren't quite as bright as she had wanted. As she walked along the curb besides an old cemetery she noticed a large shadow shape move behind the graveyard wall. Her eyes naturally followed the shape and as she stopped she clutched the small purse in her hands. She knew that bears and even coyotes were known to attack people in these neck of the woods, not to mention idiot frat boys, thusly she had brought a valuable weapon. She held the can of pepper spray in her hand and continued walking. As soon as she was out of the lamp light, the thing came up on her. She hadn't thought it would be so huge, or so fast. Large teeth had already burrowed into her side as she swung her arm around to spray the thing right in the nose. The beast ran, but Kali was left bleeding, despite it being a shallow wound. She went to the hospital and was treated then returned to her hotel. She drove back to Ohio, and her doggie daycare job. As time passed, she began feeling different. Her wound healed within a matter of days, the animals she looked after began fearing her more and more. Then during the full moon, she changed. She couldn't remember too much the next morning, having awoken naked in her tiny apartment, but one thing did change. She began painting up a storm. Whatever had happened to her, had restored her passion. As time progressed she discovered the new part of herself and found it to be a gift to her inspiration, even a secret muse. After a time, she decided to return to the scene of her revival, Elkhorn. She sold many of her new paintings to big city galleries and bought a small house along the edge of a wooded area down a long dirt road. The isolation helps her focus and give her a sense of relief if her muse decides to take an active role.

Fun Facts:
Has a half sister from her father's new marriage, doesn't like to drink but hasn't stopped her yet, almost always has something to drink in her hands at all times, can sing very well but gave it up for art, green belt in tae kwon do, likes to flirt but not when she is busy.
