Hi, guys, Bryon here, and I am coming up with a new premise for some OC's to keep my mind fresh for my Street Fighter OCs as well as other stuff I am drawing, to get myself back into the mix. So now, I am going onto Rooster Teeth's RWBY (pronounced "ruby" if anyone wasn't aware), and some OC's I am making for its universe. Honestly, these were hard to come up with considering RWBY has a thing called the Color Naming Rule, which follows simple BUT complicated criteria, where characters' name have to be either a color, sound like a color, mean a color, and make people think of a color, as well as the fact they'd have distinguishing features that match their namesake even if it isn't always the case, and each team needs to be a four letter acronym following the same criteria as I said. ANYHOO....

Let me introduce the first member of Team CYAN, the team leader, Cole Akamatsu. In terms of RWBY's Color Naming Rule, Cole's first name fits it by sounding like the word "coal" which is a kind of black that fits into his black hair, and Akamatsu refers to the Japanese red pine tree, with red being the other color Cole is represented with.

Cole's backstory - his parents, Akiyoshi and Marigold, had met at their time at Beacon, falling in love then marrying, working as a team as well as raising Cole with Aki's parents Kai and Miyuki. Cole knew a lot of love from his family, and aspired to be like them, but his life took some sudden hits; when he was 4, his grandmother had died, and then two years later, his parents died, presumably by the same thing that killed his grandmother. Though he had been depressed for some time, Cole then gained resolve, when he began to continue his training to be a Hunter, with Kai being his teacher.

In time, Cole would enter Signal Academy, studying there to become strong enough to become a Huntsman of great skill and accord as with his parents. At 16, Cole would graduate from Signal, and thus, it was time for him to move onto his next journey, attending Beacon Academy. Before he left, Kai had passed on family heirlooms to Cole; the twin katana, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, telling Cole about his family's legacy; how 1800 years ago, at the precipice of mankind discovering Dust and the power of Aura, his family had sealed away a Grimm akin to a god of darkness called Yamigedo, and that he would be carrying on the legacy his father and he before as well as his ancestors had carried on.

Cole utilizes Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu singularly or in tandem when he is in battle. He also is accompanied by the use of his Semblance, Aura Blade, which allows him to focus his Aura into swords or to focus said energy around the blades of his katana to make up for their lack of a secondary long-range mode in battle. He moves quickly, and can use the natural powers of light and darkness from his swords as well as their unique ability to absorb Dust and temporarily gain the elemental properties of whatever Dust they absorb.
