-Name: Reverend Recluse
-Real Name: Father Allen Avory.
-Occupation: Former priest and exorcist, now a wondering preacher.
-Powers: Possessed by a demon that gives him certain monstrous abilities, high will power which allows him to keep the demon at bay and to use him.
-Bio: In the realm of superheroes and villains, we are confronted with a sobering truth: the beasts of myth and legend, alongside the presence of demons, exist as tangible realities. Consequently, the Church finds itself equipped with genuine exorcists, poised to combat these malevolent forces. Among these valiant servants is Allen Avory, a steadfast defender of the faith. During the course of his noble calling, on his tenth exorcism, a grievous incident unfolded. As the demon was expelled from its tormented victim, it insidiously seized control of Allen himself. In a valiant act of self-preservation, he defied possession, leaping out of a window and descending to the street below. Submerged in darkness, he lost consciousness, surrendering his vessel to the fiendish entity. For an arduous week, an intense spiritual struggle raged within Allen's very being, unbeknownst to him, as he remained detached from the outside world. On the seventh day, through unwavering determination, he successfully subdued the malevolent spirit, harnessing its power under his command. Yet, upon opening his eyes, he discovered a harrowing sight that shattered his soul. Surrounding him lay the desolate ruins of his beloved hometown, and strewn about were the lifeless bodies of its inhabitants—his cherished friends and kin—claimed by the demon's vile puppetry. Overwhelmed by despair, Allen was momentarily consumed by thoughts of self-annihilation, burdened by a sense of personal failure and yearning to expel the demon within. However, a moment of divine clarity pervaded his consciousness. He recollected that he had indeed conquered the demon, bringing it under his control. Rather than succumbing to the depths of despair, he resolved to employ this malevolent force for a higher purpose, in pursuit of redemption for actions not his own and as a fitting penance to the wicked entity residing within him.
