Love the "426 C.I." painted on the hood, just like the stock car versions of these cars

Well, early 70s I saw one of these in Daytona blue that was autographed by Richard Petty and a few other drivers that raced the Superbird, and the guy actully drives the car! its rare to see anyone brave enough to drive them, as rare these cars are.

I've seen the blue one, well "a" blue one with Petty's sig on it driving to and from this show for advertising of the Race shop that's in the same complex as the show. It's a Hell of a ride!
Oh yeah 70's i could have swarn it was 69 but your right 70 was the first season they used this wasnt it.

They're pretty neat cars with alot of history behind them
Hard to beleive that people back in the day didnt like the tall wing, and slanted nose, and not many people wanted one, besides the race car drivers lol

Well people who were lucky enough to be the ones racing them. I'm sure the other teams were pretty pissed about loosing every time to them. LOL but yeah, it was ahead of it's time. It wasnt very much about aerodynamics back in them days was it.
