That's so cool! I haunted places and ghost hunting!
This one time I went to the Ramsey County Courthouse (in Saint Paul, MN/USA)
(and they used to hang people there) for jury duty. It was at the end of the day and I ran into
this creepy old janitor as the lights were beginning to dim. He said, "whatever you do don't get
on elevator number four or go up onto the 18th floor because they are haunted."
So, of course I had to get on elevator #4 by myself. It was so cool and creepy. As soon as I
got on the lights started to flicker. Then the elevator suddenly stopped. I called for a maintenance person
to come fix it on the emergency phone and some lady said they would send someone right away. And of course no one came right away, I was in there quite a while.
Then the elevator gets all cold and the lights go all the way out for a second. After that, they all come on at once and then the buttons on the control panel (which I was away from) start to glow, like someone was pushing them one by one (starting with the 18th floor ) until almost every single one is pushed. In the hatch above me I could see a misty shadow and feel more cold. I was actually considering climbing out that away when I remembered something an old friend of mine had said. She said, "spirits (unless they are diabolical or poltergeists)have a lesser will than the living. So, if you tell them to stop something or leave you alone they have to comply." It was worth a shot. I spoke in a firm tone and said to the resident spirit, "Ok you've had your fun for now. It's time for me to go and I have other stuff I need to do with my day. So, you'd better let me go for now and leave me alone!"
Then the elevator made a whirring noise, it got warm again, the elevator started to move, and the doors opened up on the next floor and I got out. When I got out the elevator doors kept opening and shutting so, I opted to take the stairs.

Really cool...I'd love to see the Tower if I'm ever in the UK. I'd also love to see the home of Elizabeth Bathery in Hungary.
