Sometime around noon she'd get back to work around the lighthouse - of course she had stocked up on snacks for the day ahead. Almost every pocket was full of candies, chocolates or some sort of tasty snack, and this was just about the only use for her uniform nowadays, as it hardly covered any of her massive frame.

She'd usually be fairly stuffed by this time of day, but she would still mindlessly snack her way into the afternoon. In fact, the constant eating helped her focus on the tasks at hand. She developed some ingenious devices to help with her duties. These included a system of ropes lashed around the banisters of the mass of stairs, with which she could kind-of haul her ever-increasing girth upwards towards the lamp room. It was still a huge exertion of effort to climb the tower and it still took a long time to reach the top, but at least she could let the ropes and pulleys take some of the strain.

I know there is a slight change in style from how I've done other pages, here... but I think this is how I'll keep it now.
