My favourite aspect of this piece is the texturing. The blend of metal against the grimy dull brown-grey skin, counterposed against the hashed rust in the background creates a really gritty and anachronistic feel. The mix of colours is great, as is the composition. There's something unsettling about the eye, a hollow feel which creates a dark tone to the piece.
I really enjoy the Nikon eyepiece 
My only negative criticism is in relation to the earpiece. It doesn't seem to rest comfortably in relation to the face.
Aside from that, nice work! Keep it up.

Cool Crit, not enough of this kind of thing. This was basically an exercise in texturing in photoshop, using lighting effects filters through alpha channels and hand painted masonite boards as texture overlays.
This was the piece that started the whole "brown" thing in just about everything I've done since. Your right about the ear piece, it was last thing I did so I was probably getting a little bored with it by that stage
