Description
The Messenger may be gone but our heroes' job is far from over. Iris now stood and watched as the portal struggled to shrink, thanks to the aid of Time's quick thinking and aim. The halfling wasn't sure what to do next- with the portal being so far away, only some flyers would be able to make it through... but that wouldn't matter anyway, the portal was much to small for most to fit through anyway--

"Uh, excuse me.. Would you mind telling me what's going on?" a voice rang out. Iris didn't think much of it-- there would be plenty of people asking each other that, the voice was probably asking someone else... at least that's what she thought before she was nudged. Turning around she saw the boy that was asking her. Iris explained what happened with the best of her ability, a lot had happened in such a short amount of time after all.

her conversation didn't last too long as a call went out to all the heroes wishing to follow the nasty bird. The pangolin Ry was handing out potions... although Iris had no idea what they were for. "I gotta take this to follow that hollow-wing, right?" She hardly waited for confirmation before she downed the bottle and smacked her lips at the weird taste.

"Hwy now, don't think to much into it!" Iris said to the boy, Timothy, as he hesitated with is own potion. "Get 'er down!" She said as merrily as if it was a drinking game and tilted the bottle into his mouth. "'tastes funny but whatever'll... help us...?" POOF! Iris didn't even feel it happen, but the next thing Iris knew, everything was HUGE. She had turned into an insect, a firefly to be specific, and the boy next to her was a butterfly now.

"Aw, yeah! Here we go!" Iris said in excitement, pulling down her goggles and preparing to take off... when the feeling of a predators eyes sent shivers down the two's backs. a bird and a cat.... Iris vaguely recalled them being with Timothy when he first talked to her, but now... they didn't seem to want pats. "Weeeee should go!" Iris called and took off, hearing strong wings following her. She turned around to see the bird right on her tail, ready to have her for dinner. "HEY, CALL OFF YA BIRD!" She exclaimed to Timothy, but he seemed to be cornered by his pet cat.

with this new complication, Iris and Timothy have to struggle to escape the pets before they face the real foe on the other side of the portal-- if they even make it there.
