Fantastic ! is this one of the WW1 battle fields that I read about and the poppies that grace them ,beautiful picture.

Thank you, it's actually in Northern England so quite a distance away from the WWI battlefields in France and Belgium.

Thanks, it was a lovely evening and I saw this field as I was driving home from work. I parked up and managed to get a few shots whilst the light was still good.

Wild daisies and poppies look so free-spirited. And, the church in the background almost looks like it is one of the bushes in the background at first glance. Really nice shot.

Thank you. I always feel that poppies are the free spirits of the flower world as they pop up all over the place, often taking over a farmers field of wheat or barley.
