Description
The first match in semi-finals was between Kaida and Danielle. The 2 highly competitive girls have been close friends for years, having numerous back-and-forth matches over the years prior to joining this league. Both girls put up a hell of a fight, trading blows and stretching each other in various holds. Kaida gained the first advantage, tripping Danielle and applying a camel clutch. Danielle used her strength to get up to her feet, with Kaida still clinging on, but then suddenly dropped and delivered a surprise stunner to her unsuspecting opponent. Before Kaida could recover, Danielle rolled Kaida into a deep boston crab. She then drove her knee into Kaida's back to intensify the hold, hoping to finish her off like she did a while back in Kaida's first loss . This time, Kaida had enough strength to slip out of the hold, and kicked away her opponent. A little back-and-forth grappling followed, and was interrupted abruptly when Danielle caught one of Kaida's kicks, only to be nearly knocked out by Kaida's enzuigiri. Kaida climbed to the top rope, and as soon as her opponent got on her feet, she leaped onto Danielle and stamped her head-first into the mat with a perfectly executed tornado DDT. Kaida wasted no time, trapping her groggy foe's left arm with her legs and pulling back on her head with a nasty crossface. Kaida pulled back with all her might, and while her opponent was clearly in agony, she refused to tap out. Kaida released her opponent's head, but kept her arm trapped, because she wasn't done yet. She grabbed her opponent's right leg and pulled it all the way to her head. The extreme back bending alone would make some girls tap, but Kaida wanted to crank the hold to a whole new level. She pulled up Danielle's head, and used her own foot to stretch her well beyond her limits in a unique and painful crossface variant. The sudden shock of pain had Danielle's 2 free limbs flailing helplessly for a few moments, followed by frantically tapping out. It was a touch match, but in the end, Kaida was victorious and advances to finals.
