Description
Serena had a tough debut against current champion Sera in a non-title match. The new girl was able to pull off some crazy high-flying moves, including an unbelievable 450 splash from the top rope. She never got a good opportunity to make her opponent submit however, as Sera managed maintain her own offense against the new girl. The end came after a high-risk attempt at a shooting star press on the downed Sera backfired as Sera pulled her knees up, with Serena landing painfully gut-first on Sera's knees. Serena, writhing in pain, showed little resistance as she was lifted up and piledriven in the middle of the ring. Sera then proceeded to apply a camel clutch, but only a light seated version, just to toy with her groggy opponent, just as she did with Veronica. After a few moments, Sera decided to put an end to the match and leaned back hard. Serena held out for as long as she could, not wanting to lose on her debut. Camel clutches and other similar holds, in Serena's experience, were mostly used to wear opponents down, not to actually earn a submission. Little did she know that the girls in this league don't hold back and will bend you to the breaking point if given the opportunity. She certainly knew soon after, as Sera continued to mercilessly pull back, and with her back feeling like it's going to snap in half, Serena was forced to tap out in submission.
