This is a very strong attempt to portray a difficult subject; I am impressed Considering that you requested a critique, I have but two suggestions: (1) There are places throughout this drawing where I see the use of strong, sharp lines. I do not know how close to realism you wished to get with this drawing or if you intended to stay more on the graphic side. However, if attempting a bit more realism, I'd suggest staying away from sharp lines a bit more and use shading as your means of delineating different features. And (2), like I said, if you wished to stay more with realism, I can see where you likely used the same pencil for the dark areas throughout his jacket, but I see very strong pencil marks that are not uniform in tonality, causing a jagged look that does not keep the same value throughout the piece. I very well could be wrong, but it looks like you went ahead with one, dark pencil and placed down that value without layering, causing the strong appearance of individual marks. I'd definitely say that even though the jacket is black, still work up your layers one by one ^^ It will give a much smoother, realistic appearance.

Great comments livecuriously. This study is a rough pencil sketch at the moment i am in the process of adding colour to it at the moment but i'm not doing alot of art at this time as i'm busy doing other things but watch this space for an update on this piece in the near future and i hope you add your comments to it as they are very well appreciated and i will take them on board for future drawings when i get back into my art again!
