Description
A 2-hour speedpainting of the character Darkness from Ridley Scotts fantasy movie 'Legend'.The final sitting was a toughie - my computer crashed partway through losing me 10 minutes of work, which in speedpainting terms is pretty major!
I might update it at a later time if I fix the bits I don't like.Videos showing this painting in progress can be found in my Painting Videos collection under the title Bigger Red Speedpaint.

Amazingly accurate and awesome techniques.
I believe I saw that movie once when I was a child. I had nightmares. And I'm the kid who watched Godzilla and R rated movies. It was this guy that made me scared.

He's such an awesome character! I didn't see the movie until the mid 90's so was out of the 'easy-to-scare' era of my life.
Having said that, someone answered their mobile quite loud on the bus the other day and it frightened the life out of me!

ive never seen the movie Legend but you painted him so very realisticly that its like hes not even part of a movie, seriously
