"Loneliness, Darkness... Thoughts of her life...
That was all what surrounded her...
There she was sitting on her cliff like every night and thinking.
Thinking about her life, about the world, about the gods.
With a sadly look she hung down her head as she felt his presense imediatelly.
With a loud roar rumbling like thunder she watched how the night god left his castle and came down on earth to cover the sky with his dark nightblue fur and stars.
She lifted her head and answerd his roar with a loud and long howling sound, which cuts the silence of the night like a sharp blade.
The night god answered her with a fresh wind and materialized his face behind her in the sky which was now colored in the colors of the night.
The female wolf let out a quiet sigh.
Then she stand up and continued her journey which was called life.
But every night of her life she will come to this cliff and watch the Birth of the Night..."

Well, this little story poem thingy ( or whatever ) just came into my mind after I finished this picture here which is for 's contest. The theme was drawing her wolf character Ramala in a scene or picture how we interprete the character and this is what just popped in my mind while I was watching Ramala's character sheet. For me Ramala is looking like thoughtful and a bit sad character, but on the other side she also looks kinda mystical, like a creature of the night. So one question came into my mind which was "What if Ramala has some kind of mystical powers and can see or talk with the gods or spirits?" And then I came to the conclusion to draw her with my night god character Bilashakala^^ and so I got started...
I worked really really long on that kind of picture and I also tried some new things, like giving Bilashakala some kind of a little realistic looking. That was my first time of drawing a fullbody pose of a wolf, so I used a uncomplicated sitting pose^^ I'm quite satisfied how Ramala and Bilashakala turned out, even if Iput too much stars on Bilashakala's fur and mane *lol* Also tried to give the cliff a kinda realistic shading and coloring, but I failed, because it's kinda hard to draw such details with a mouse, because I didn't get some nice rounded lines *sigh* But my boyfriend said, that the rock looks okay and better as my rock I did before *lol*
The background is kinda simple with some trees, grass, clouds and a full moon ( all drawn by hand with the mouse and not using some kind of Photoshop brushes^^ ). Really like my cloud this time *woot* Well, nothing else to say about that picture... Hope you like it Ramala!!!

Working time: much too long... worked on it since two weeks, but not every day...
Stuff used: Sketches done via pencil and lined out by hand with artist ink and pens, then scanned the picture and colored and shaded it with Photoshop 7 ( file size was 22,06MB, so my PC crashed sometimes, because the picture was too big for it... *grumble* )
