Some free fluffy cat Lineart for you to use and color ^.^ Quality is a bit crappy, bit at least those lines are now MS Paint friendly ^_^
Here are the Rules for using it:
1. You can use the lineart for point adoptables, Ref Sheets, Icons/Avatars, your own character etc. if you please! Just please give me credit for the lineart and don't remove my crappy copyright please!!!

Is it gimp useable? (its all I got , because I don't know any other programs except from SAI [which I am really rubbish at using it!])

I am not sure to be honest, since I don't have Gimp on this new computer anymore ( just PS and SAI ), though I would say you should give it a try, since Gimp is somewhat similar to PS ^^
And well I suck in SAI as well XD Only using it for linearting my sketches and stuff lol

I can't find a way to get it to work , silly Gimp, my friend said it would work if you put the layer and all this multiply which I already do. Its not working so far ^^

Actually your friend is right, since multiply should actually work ( it does in PS ) 
Okay, I got Gimp Version 2.8 now, so let's see if I can get this lineart to work in there XD Okay, I played around with it and I got it to work. You don't need to have any layer on multiply at all. All layers can stay on normal mode. All you need to do is putting the color layer under the layer with the lineart. Then you can color it. And if you want to use the magic wand tool use it on the lineart layer and then switch back to the color layer for the coloring. At least that worked for me, so hope it will do for you as well ^.^
