sorry to labour the point made on the photo there man, but have you maybe read somewhere of socrates' comments at his trial about looking for a wise man in athens and when he looked among the artists he found none since they all seemed to believe that their artistic gifts gave them the right to act as politicians and philosophers? something like that. i dunno, im not a wise man myself.
on the upside, there is definitly a depth of character in these faces, feels like you know them a little better than me just from the drawing at any rate
