Description A dungeons and maps design for a mug.
I'm working on some alternative captions. But who knows, maybe tabletop RPG gamers need a large mug to put their dice in. I know I do.

EDIT:
Well, it would be a design for a mug if DA didn't keep returning the phrase "Invalid primary image" *rolls eyes*
Not impressed! Going to bed!
EDIT No2:
I tried to order some mugs but the print was rejected by quality control. Double hmpf.
By the way, the Font is "Morris Roman"
EDIT No.3
Third go with reduced DPI ....

EDIT No.4 They arrived! Two mugs with the above design on. Will post pics soon!
(24/3/11)

I'd love to buy myself and my original GM this mug for Christmas. Back in the eighties, my godbrother babysat/DM'd me through the original Ravenloft and one other adventure, and only this year am I getting back to the the tabletop...

This is one of the best things I've seen on DA! As an old-school gamer, this is simply awesome!

Thank you very much.
I love the illustrations and hand drawn maps in the older games.

Well, you're really doing the old maps justice. I'm really gonna have to buy one of these! Awesome.

This would have been great if I had something like this when I was younger. Me and my brother would put a lot of dice into a mug and then use it to throw the dice across the floor while we played games. Good times.

That's the sort of idea I was going for. I must fix the picture so it actual outputs as a mug transfer. hmpf.
Thanks for commenting.

you ever think of making some pre-made fully fleshed out battlemaps ??

I think the guys for D20Pro virtual tabletop were looking for guys to create Battlemaps to sell for backing up their software. They were talking about doing up Battlemap map packs.

Shoot em an e-mail.......i know as a D20Pro user I would love to use a fully fleshed out battle map using your art. I just suck at making maps but love using high quality maps.

I use Battlemaps via D20Pro software on my gaming table.. heres a link to some pics:

Keep up the good work.

Whoa. That touch screen behometh isn't your gaming table? Is it?

Yup, I put in the majority of time in on designing and building the table but the rest of the guys in my gaming group helped here and there whenever their schedules allowed.

One of the guys I play with said he has an investor who would like to fund our little side business venture of building and selling Game tables. I'd love to do it for a living but I think eventually our customer base would dry up. Not too many guys want to spend $1000 to $4000 on a game table no matter how nice we make it look or functional it is.

I'm genuinely impressed! I hope it brings you much fame, if not wealth. You'd certainly need a customer base of very wealthy role-players. Then again, plenty of folk seem to buy pool tables and arcade machines for not much less. Maybe in a few more years when more table-top gamers are old enough to be on senior management wages.

Sorry for my delayed reply. I've already put together some very simple packs for a dungeon editor (sold by Rusty Axe Games), but so far the most rewarding stuff has been my printable dungeon floor plans (see inked adventures link in my sig) -which are almost too retro for some players! I'll check out the link. Thanks for the praise and pointers.

This is some good stuff my friend I may use some of your designs for the dungeon clings I plan on making for our dry erase map.

Thanks ZB.

Some of it is based on floor plans I make. There's some printable freebies to download here: [link]
I've never tried to use dry-erase - I think I'd be too self conscious drawing a straight line in front of players.

Well you could always be really anal and bring a giant ruler with you to help! I think the players would probably make fun of you more for that though.

At least I could then hit them with the ruler if they teased me.

It comes up with the option to buy as a mug for me if I click on buy. So I guess it did work.

I like th combination of little maps and the big scroll. Is the "Bb" your logo/signature? I like it - compact, but unique.

Yup. That's my corporate intellectual property stamp. It's on all of the Inked Adventures products for sale on RPGNow et al.
(Not as good as your animated logo mind. )

Ooh fancy!
My logo is just an animated version of the signature I already have (very old deviation: [link] )

Thanks, shame it's not working out as an actual mug.
I'm too impatient to fix it today.

What does the print store offer other than mugs and prints? I've never looked at it very much...

I thought about exploring fridge magnets. I get the feeling that people on the whole only buy their own stuff.
