Description
It's no secret that all the story of Alya the Unlucky was planned to be a comic of many chapters. However, until now I was able to finish only some pin-up style pictures and some separate panels.

This chapter, "Alya versus Quicksand - the first time" was going to be the first one (with some preceding pictures or "zero chapter" - whatever I will be able to do eventually). As you can guess from the title (and maybe from the style), one of the following pages (the third one as it is planned now) will contain the panel which was submitted to deviantART (go check it!) on the 18th of April 2009, while the original b/w picture was submitted on the 28th of January 2009. According to what was said in the description of that picture, that was the start of my work on the comic about Alya. More than five years ago!
Linearts for the first and the second panels for this page were submitted here on the 15th of May and the 1st of June 2009, correspondingly, and since then they resided in my gallery dedicated to Alya (now I remove them from there). The lineart for the third panel has been done shortly after those two but had not been posted here or elsewhere. Honestly, I wasn't completely satisfied by those linearts, but only recently I identified the reason and changed bikini bottoms for all three girls. It worked!

The first panel for this page was practically finished (trees, sand, water, colored girls, but no text bubbles) long ago, too. I have one copy with zoomed in girls dated 2011, though I am pretty sure I had retouched it several times before that. However, only after I changed the bikini bottoms and recolored the girls I felt the power to finish the whole page. The second panel was colored a month ago, the third one - the last week. Text bubbles were added the last Thursday and retouched today. I think it's time to show the page to the world...

Though, as you can guess, I have no idea when the second page might appear. I have only doodles for it.

I also have rendered each panel separately with higher resolution and without the text bubbles, and I have rendered pictures of colored girls without backgrounds. I was thinking about adding them as a "Premium Content", but my previous experience shows that nobody is interested in pictures of higher resolution no matter how low the price is. I would like to hear an advice from you. Well, I know what might cause a certain interest - to take off bikinis from the girls. I can do it, but I don't want to do it in this case (there should be a dialogue on the next page if it would be possible to stay topless on this beach - and Valya would not recommend to do it). Also, unlike many other works, here the girls were drawn and colored in bikinis from the very beginning.
