Ohh... I misunderstood something. Never mind.
Well, it's both easy and hard. It's easier in terms of being simpler than the real-life shading, but it takes a certain amount of skill to get it out right.
You're not bad at it. But I'd advise you to focus on the normal shading rather than this, if it's easier for you. Cel shading is about following the real patterns anyway.
