I'm so sorry I haven't uploaded anything in a while .. bloody Uni!Anyway this was a request from my boyfriend, this is his favourite Terry Pratchett character Commander Vimes.
I did like Vimes, though after Death and Binky my favourite is Moist Von Lipwig, he's my next planned painting xD
I took inspiration from the Snuff book cover, I over did the rain I think, ah well it was my first attempt at rain xC

Very good painting, shading and lighting on his skin are wonderful done. I like a lot the way you drew rainy atmosphere spreading and mixing all that blue grey tones, it really evokes sea life and storms! 
I consider you did her clever gaze and facial features perfectly because they really fit with Commander Vimes. I particularly like the detail of red-orange light on the top of the cigar

The rain drops look alright to me. Though I do think you should have maybe had some water dripping off of his helmet and armor. That would have been a cool effect.

I like the rain 
I love the overall atmosphere of this picture. The intensity and the colouring have been done very neatly!

I love the mood of this piece- the cool colors of the background really contrast with the warmth of the figure. The glow is a nice effect that really adds to the whole atmosphere. Well done!
