My Hellboy piece for the groupIt was done pretty much last minute, so for a rush job, I think it came out pretty decent.

I tried to stay true to the Mike Mignola art and at the time I was just experimenting with backgrounds. Maybe a little too wildly, but I think it kinda worked.

I like the perspective, the grounding frame looks to me like your standing on a floor above him and he shot through it and now your looking down at him.

i dunno whether or not to call it background because i thik it's actually foreground, but i love that... crater-y, hole-ish thing we're seeing him through. it's clever, but also well done.
