Here was a sketch cover I really liked working on-- I got to mix up the costume a bit on my own

its a good piece by all measure , showing skill and talent but wow , those breasts have gotta be an issue in battle in such a loose and form fitting costume

I totally agree...they become a very big issue during any action sequence-- twice.
And thats when the adventure truly begins...

lol , i can understand the challenge in drawing it - im a smidge of a hater on breasted female hero's
nothing against your work at all - im more critical of it not even due to girl power or anything just that
maybe believability for the ability to sustain a battle or functionality how much they become a hindrance.
still great work , good likes solid anatomy and the style reminds me of the best of the late 90's spiderman especially the peter parker series and i mean this as a total compliment.

These are all good topics to cover and different projects take on different challenges, to be sure
I almost equate (in instances like this) how I draw the male characters with ridiculously broad shoulders and small six packs
to how I treat the female characters... with over sized upper torsos and ridiculously long legs-- Im definitely catering to a certain
sensibility with this style-- kind of like how exploitation films and grindhouse stuff purposely goes over the edge within their
own genre...I think Im drawing comixploitation characters, that take those features and just blow them out a bit on purpose for fun
On the surface, I just drew it this way cause I thought it looked cool...and its what I sensed the collector wanted
--but I think its really cool to step back and discuss it and take it apart constructively
Im also really glad that you picked up on the 90's vibe-- Im a total product of the 90's boom in comics and other than
manga, it probably influenced my art the most
