can I just say SOOTY?

Here is my silly little snippet that goes with the picture I kind of formulated it while I was drawing.

The day is just getting started; sun shining through the window, a light breeze gently rustling the trees, a fresh cup of coffee and a whole day a work ahead of me, and yet I am bored! She rustled a few papers around and rose from her chair abruptly; I guess I'll go see what Kassy is up to.

She gasped as she walked through the door and began fumbling with her jacket zipper; today was much cooler than expected. Walking briskly through the snow she began searching in the main arena, to which she was greeted with a shrill whinny and a rather surprised greeting from her sister. A small inky blob jetted around the dirt at a blistering pace, with his nose hovering low to the ground.

Andrea gave a rather perplexed look at her sister, "I thought we were breeding Arabs now?"

Kirsten choked back a laugh, "He's an Arab, hes just going through the awkward growing stage. And just what are you doing out so early, don't you have paperwork to do?" she added teasingly.

"What exactly is he growing into, a Quarter Horse?" blatantly ignoring her question and pointing at his rather high ended rump, "Is he even going to be ready for the show? Its only a few weeks away you know."
