How could it happen that elves no longer deliver gifts?
Santa Claus thought like this: every year I have a lot of presents to deliver, and the elves are small, they can't carry a lot of presents at one time, so it takes a long time to deliver them; so let them exercise hard in the gym all year round, feed them some nutrients, they will grow, gain strength and quickly deliver all the gifts. Seemingly a good plan, the elves started lifting weights at the gym, reluctantly at first, they got hooked and soon they were spending most of the day at the gym, exercising manically, consuming huge amounts of food and growing like weeds. When Santa realized it, it was too late, the tiny creatures, previously uninterested in sex, turned into huge mountains of muscles dripping with testosterone.
When the holidays came and the elves went out to the Christmas village almost naked (no wonder, there was not enough material to sew traditional clothes for their monstrously huge bodies), they aroused admiration, fascination and fear. In truth, the elves tried to work as before, but every meeting between them, every accidental contact of one muscular naked body with another ended... (you already know how it ends, so let's not write about it, it is a happy Christmas story after all and children can read it...)
