i'm with the owly bird in this situation. there's not much to do in heavy traffic except sit and wait.
having the harsh car honking come out in jarring bright colors is a fun idea! it brings to mind EXACTLY the kind of noise i think both the bird and the car would be making.

That is good news! I was worried that the horn effect was too jarring but by the point this picture was at, I was so done with the whole thing that I forced myself to ignore that part. I even somehow completely forgot to detail the ignition key and whatever was attached to it. It is still as it was during the sketch phase!
