for a non-secret project involving imps (www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uDQkG… ), which has also kept me busy enough to have nothing ELSE to show this week,
a stupid creature. ordinarily i do not bother to make references for animating since i will have drawn them enough that i know what they look like before i get to animating them, but I need to increase my production speed and this particular dork is taking some figuring out. Especially since I need to draw it from 5-8 angles. It needs to be not be so complicated that me with my skill level cannot animate it at all, but i do want it to be somewhat more distinct looking than the usual imps.
I may yet drop the ears and lower back "wings" and just add upper back wings that simulate the shape of the ears from the front. The wings do not matter; something like this could not fly either way!

i like the color of the wings and i think the design looks good- but yeah, looking at your project, if you need to draw that many sprites for it then simplifying the design could be really helpful.

I meant that I felt it was simple already! It briefly had two additional arms extending from the grey part of its midsection but in this context there are not many things I could do with those arms. In fact in most contexts I cannot. I can only put four arms on something I only need to draw once.
