The sun was shining intense so I thought I bring our old rice paper Chinese umbrella out to shade our sitting place while chilling...

Ahh...that back lighting is magical. It makes the parasol an abstract. Beautiful item by the way....delicate yet constructed to defy the wind.
Very nice photo, Carol and Bob's son Julian's music just adds to the mellow ambience of your secret garden place

This parasol is so old it's from the 80' and was hidden in
the attic.
Yeah I love Julian's presence too. I think he has a very strong
attitude to fight for the right thing and to liberate for freedom...

I'm surprised to see a tropical palm tree in your Switzerland yard.

We've 3 of them! The previous owner planted them long time ago.
They came originally from the southern part (Ticino) of Switzerland.
As we live close by the lake with its very mild climate they drive beautiful.
They even can take a lot of snow in winter which is crazy... Sadly they don't
have one coconut or dates...
