Funny I would see a fish here first - before realizing the botanic nature of this shot. The ikan bettah, the fighting fish, was the first thing I saw when looking at this picture. Amazing how the brain acts before the eyes have really seen.

Well its an older one and a poppy. When I took
the pic it was almost impossible to post process
it afterwards. Red is so hard... So I thought I
have a go on b/w...
Btw: to see a poppy in Switzerland is very rare...

It might be the pesticides. On an organic field
we can find them now again (after years!!!) and my most loved lady beetles
too...

I have noticed this is happening around the world. For a time we had all the birds disappearing but slowly they are returning. A good thing no doubt. They eat the pesty bugs.
