Goop nervously sat at the chair across from Nectar at the table. He could feel his digestion organelle wrenching at the thought of what Nectar was about to say to him. I can't believe I just blew it, he thought hopelessly.She reached across the table and pulled his hand to the center, placing both on hers on top of it gently. "Goop."
He sighed and bowed his head in humiliation.
"The reason I agreed to go out with you," she began, "is because I like you. You don't have to change who you are to impress me."
Goop looked up at her, a bit shocked at response.
"Now," she continued, "which movie do you want to see? Take your pick."
"Um, well," he said, dizzy with relief, "I've been wanting to see that for a while." He gestured his head towards a movie poster for one of those gunfest super violent action movies that no girl would be caught dead in usually.
Nectar smiled with her eyes at him, as Polymorphs do. "Well then, what are we waiting for?"
