Melanie Kradez, or Mel K., is a Doxhani Grey Fox who was in the armed forces. She is captured by the felines, scared to death, and having never even fired a shot in anger. She eventually becomes friends with Staci and co. proving that former enemies can indeed become friends, and here she's symbolically surrendering her old ways and showing off her "official Riot Girl uniform"-arm warmers, a cute pink T-shirt and Ugg boots. The 19-year-old fox is the subject of my new story "The Friendly Vixen". She gains quite a bit of weight since she and Staci and co. became fwends, she's an excellent cook and loves to eat. In case u are wondering what that thing hanging from her necklace is, it's a legioniscacarce, an electronic device issued to Doxhani service personnel that contains all their personal information. However, Mel K. erased all the data and reconfigured hers into an MP3 player. Though she had no previous idea of the lifestyle Staci and co. lead, becoming straight edge was easy for Mel because of her religion, which forbids the use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
