Note from the Author: The beginning of this chapter doesn’t follow the end of the previous one but the events happen in the same time.
After reporting what happened to Ellen, the captain asked the crew to get back on the ship to elaborate a plan to rescue Lauren.
The crew was on the deck, Ellen was in front of the other crew member, asking every information they were able to get on the Octavius.
Johnny gave his report about the generator.
“I’m afraid we won’t be able to turn the generators back on, after a few tries and a short diagnostic it appeared that the turbines were stuck. Bias helped me to get access to them, and they were entangled with thick vines, I tried to cut them off, but when I started to cut it’s like they became alive and attacked me, fortunately Bias had a good aim with the blaster and managed to get me out of there.”
Ellen nodded
“Alright, we will have to make it with flashlight then, I don’t want to take any risks, we already lost a crew member, and our mission is to take her back, not loosing other.”
She then looked at Kate.
“Kate, any conclusions of your experiences with the slime?”
“Yes Captain, the sample I got was really useful and I learned many things. The slime is actually harmless for the body, it doesn’t attack fur nor skin. But it seems to be able to destroy almost everything, depending on how long the object is exposed to it. Cloth seem to be the worst, it dissolve almost instantly, but the slime has more difficulties with synthetic material like plastic or rubber, it seems to melt it more than dissolving it. Moreover, I’ve seen it doesn’t do anything to metal, so it’s a good point, we could have weapons with us, and use a cable to get back as a rope wouldn’t work… Oh, and it doesn’t have any odor, but it tastes like strawberries… Not really useful to know but still interesting.”
“Ok, so as the air is breathable in there there’s no need for us to wear the space suits, we only lost one, I don’t want the other to get damaged. The idea of a cable is really good, Johnny and Bias, could you search in the storage for cables, I need the longest you could find, weld them together if needed.”
“On it captain” Johnny said before getting in the storage area with if friend Bias.
Ellen then looked at the two leopards.
“Aria and Felicio, did you find anything interesting in there?”
Felicio spoke first
“We did captain, we have found several dead bodies, all in the same state of decay, they were completely dry, like if they were mummified. A total of twelve corpses, all male, we don’t know what happened to the females of the ship though.”
Ellen frowned
“What tells you there were females on this ship? Maybe there wasn’t any…”
“Well, I…” He blushed
Aria cut him.
“He searched in their underwear and found some female lingerie, about what we have found we estimated that there were twelve females aboard the Octavius.”
Ellen looked at Felicio with a little smile
“Interesting…”
“I… I was just searching clues where I could captain. One more thing, the most disturbing actually, was that the bodies were in different places, three in the control room, four in the men’s quarters and five in the women’s quarters, all in their beds.”
“You mean there was five men sleeping in the ladies room? That’s strange…”
“Yes, I think someone have placed the bodies there, for us to think they were dead in their sleep, not paying attention it was the ladies dormitory.”
“That’s a scary but interesting theory you got there Felicio…”
Ellen remained silent for some seconds, thinking.
“Alright, I’m your captain and you’re all under my responsibility, that’s why I will go there and get Lauren back on this ship.”
Kate took a step forward
“Captain, I would like to come with you for this mission, I feel responsible for what happened to Lauren, and I don’t want to let you go alone in there.”
Felicio took a step forward too
“I’ll come too captain. I’m responsible of the security on this ship, and I can’t let two ladies go in this dangerous place by themselves.”
Ellen smiled
“Alright, it looks like we have our rescue team.”
Aria looked worried
“I… I would like to come to help you too, but to be honest this place freaks me out…”
Ellen smiled at the leopard
“No problem Aria, three will be enough, you’ll stay near the ship with Johnny and Bias, waiting for us.”
After some preparation the ship landed again in the airlock of the Octavius. The whole crew get out of the ship, Kate, Felicio and Ellen leaded the way to the laboratory, each of them were armed with a blaster, while Johnny, Bias and Aria followed them with a winch, it was a big one, with a lot of cable, it have been placed on a cart for easier transportation.
When they got to the laboratory, the mechanic team installed the winch on the wall in front of the laboratory door.
“Alright, Johnny, Bias and Aria, I want you to get back on the ship, be safe and I’ll call you to get us back with the winch if needed, okay?”
“Yes captain! Be careful there.” Johnny said
“Don’t worry, we’ll be fine.”
The three crew member stared walking away towards the ship.
Ellen took a deep breath and looked at Kate, Kate gave her a thumb up.
“Okay, let’s get ready.” Ellen said.
Felicio was looking at the door of the laboratory when he heard a zipper sound, he then turned his head where the vixens were and saw they were taking off their jumpsuits, leaving them in white tank top and underwear, grey panties for Ellen and blue ones for Kate.
“Heeee, what are you doing girls?” Asked Felicio, confused.
“The slime dissolves cloth, you remember? There’s no need to destroy our suits, so we get in there in the simplest apparel.” Ellen replied while taking off her tank top, revealing a matching bra.
“You should really do the same handsome, moreover if your suit gets destroyed you’ll have nothing to wear on your way back…” Said Kate as she was unhooking her blue bra.
Felicio sighed
“Alright…”
He unzipped his jumpsuit and pulled it off, revealing a white t-shirt and black boxers decorated with red hearts, he then pulled off his t-shirt, and stood in his underwear for a moment.
Ellen and Kate were both already naked, they used their tail to cover their lady bits and an arm to cover their chest. They both looked at Felicio.
“You know, you should take your underwear off as well, it would be a shame to destroy such cute boxers…” Said Kate while putting on a metallic belt with a hook on it.
While Felicio was taking of his last piece of clothing, it was really hard for Kate to think about something else than taking a look at his manhood, she tried to focus, but she took a quick peek just before he covered his crotch with his hands, which left her with a little smile and a slight blush on her face.
Ellen looked at him from head to toes and smiled
“I see why Lauren likes you so much...”
“So, are we going or what?” Felicio asked, looking away from the two naked vixens.
“Ok, there we go” said Ellen just before opening the door.
The three rescuers turned on their flashlight.
“I’ll go first” said Ellen
Felicio started to walk behind her, followed by Kate which has the cable attached to her belt.
Suddenly Ellen stopped and turned around, looking at Felicio with a menacing expression on her face.
“Oh! And Felicio, one more thing…”
Felicio took a step back.
“Yes captain?” He asked, a bit worried
Ellen pointed her finger at him.
“If I catch you staring at my ass, you’re a dead man, understood?”
Felicio tried to focus on her face and not on her breasts which she uncovered to point her finger at him.
“But captain, you know I have eyes only for Lauren…”
Ellen took an even more menacing expression
“Understood?!”
Felicio gulped
“Yes ma’am!”
Ellen then took a look at Kate
“Kate, keep an eye on him.”
“With pleasure boss!” Kate replied with a wide smile.
Then they entered the lab and headed to the hole on the wall where Lauren disappeared. One by one they got in there, the wall were partially covered by vines which got thicker as the walk in the corridor.
While they were walking Felicio came closer to Ellen.
“Hum, Captain?” He asked.
Ellen sighed.
“Felicio, we are both naked, walking toward something that may kill us… You can call me Ellen.”
“Oh, ok, well, Ellen, what do you think we will find there?”
“I think we will find a naked terrified kitty, and we will bring her back. Why? What are you expecting?”
“I honestly don’t know, I just hope she’s fine.”
Ellen smiled.
“You two really love each other, huh?”
“Well, she’s the most precious thing I have, I’ll do everything for her.”
“She thinks the same about you, you know.”
Felicio smiled.
Some steps later Ellen stopped.
“Oh my, look at this beauty over there!”
She pointed out a gun with her flashlight. She came closer to it, she dropped her blaster and took the big gun in her hands, it was a big pump-action shotgun, a quick inspection showed that the gun worked with energy cells, and a little screen on the side said there were seventeen shots remaining. Kate, on her side found a fully automatic rifle, with a flashlight attached to it, it also had a pump-action on it for grenade launch, the screen on the side said they were forty eight shots remaining. She also found a knife in his sheath which she attached to her belt.
Ellen smiled
“Looks like our arsenal have just been improved. Come on Felicio, take one.”
“Thanks, but I prefer handgun personally.”
Ellen grabbed something on the floor and showed it to Felicio, it was a big handgun, it looked like a revolver but with energy cell instead of the barrel.
“Oh, that’s interesting.” He said as he took the gun, there is also a little screen on it that says 16 shots remaining.
“Well, let’s continue” Ellen said before starting walking.
A short time after they found a big hole in the floor. They came near the edge and looked down, with the help of their flashlight they saw a kind of big mouth with no teeth, and it was wide open. They all looked at each other.
“Well, I guess we have to jump in it…” Kate said.
“There’s no other way, so Lauren is certainly there.”
Felicio was in the middle, Ellen on his right and Kate on his left.
“Alright, on three… One…Two…Three” Felicio said as he jumped in the hole, followed by the two vixens.
When they get in the ‘mouth’ the space was really narrow, and they were squished together, putting the three crew member in a rather uncomfortable position, Felicio was in the middle with Ellen’s breasts squished on his back and Kate’s pressing against his chest.
“Felicio! Move you hand! It’s… it’s between my legs…” Ellen said
Felicio tried to move it, but her legs were tightly closed together, it was stuck, his attempt to move it only made Ellen let out a soft moan.
“No, no! Don’t move it! It’s only making it worse…”
In this situation, even if he tries his best to think of something else, Felicio couldn’t help but be a bit aroused, when suddenly Kate said
“Hey Felicio! I really hope that’s your gun I feel on my belly!”
Felicio gulped
“Heee, yes, yes, sure it is…”
They eventually made their way to the bottom and landed where Lauren was not long ago.
Ellen grabbed Felicio’s jaw and pulled him close to her face, muzzle to muzzle.
“Any word to anyone about what happened in there, and I kill you, clear?”
Felicio nodded silently.
“Fine, let’s go…” Ellen said while walking away
Kate and Felicio followed her. They saw a dim light nearby.
“Who… Who’s there?” Lauren asked, a bit anxious
“Lauren?!” Felicio called before running towards the voice, leaving the two vixens behind him
“Felicio?” Lauren stood up but didn’t run, the dim light and her bad eyesight doesn’t help her to see obstacles.
When Felicio was close enough she jumped at his neck and gave him a tight hug before kissing him deeply, a little tear was running on her cheek.
“You came to save me…” She smiled
“Of course, and I didn’t came alone, look.”
The two vixens came closer, allowing Lauren to see them. She let go of Felicio and hugged them as well.
“Thank you…” She said.
“Hum, Lauren, you know you’re still naked, right?” asked Kate while hugging her back.
“I don’t care, I’m just so happy to see you.”
The two vixens smiled as Lauren moved her tail to conceal her lady bits.
Ellen brought her wrist to her mouth, she had a little communication device attached to it.
“Johnny, are you receiving me?”
“Yes Captain! Did you find Lauren?” Johnny replied through the communicator
“Yep, we just found them, she’s fine, get ready for the extraction.”
“Alright, we’ll be there in a minute. Over”
“Alright, let’s go before things get worse.” Ellen said to the others.
“Wait!” Lauren stopped her
“Before we go, I have a request.”
“Tell me.”
“Well, first I need to introduce you to someone.” Lauren smiled
She leaded Ellen, Kate and Felicio to Amelia.
“Here, this is Amelia, she’s an amazing robot. Amelia, this is my friends, Felicio, my boyfriend, Ellen my captain, and Kate, the navigator.”
Lauren seemed so happy to introduce her friend to Amelia, but her smile vanished when she saw no reactions from the robot.
“A… Amelia? Are you…” She grabbed her arm, and shook it, but Amelia didn’t moved.
“No… No, no, no!”
Felicio, Kate and Ellen looked at each other, not really understanding what’s happening, but they felt a bit sad for Lauren.
Felicio put his hand on her shoulder
“What’s happening sweetie?” He asked with a soft voice.
“She… she ran out of energy…” Lauren said with sobs
Felicio didn’t know what to say, and was just massaging her shoulder.
“Ellen?” Lauren asked.
“Yes?”
“That was my request, we have to take her back with us, she’s the only survivor of this disaster…But, she misses several parts of her body as you can see, and they are further, where the ‘monster’ is… I know I’m asking a lot, but please, we have to save her…”
“But, Lauren, it’s just a robot… it doesn’t worth the risk…”
“No, she’s more than that… Please let me tell you what she told me… please…”
Ellen sighed, and called Johnny with her communicator.
“Johnny? Give us some more time, there’s some unplanned things going on, don’t worry, everything is under control, over.”
“No problem captain, we’ll be ready when you call again, over”
“Thank you…” Said Lauren, feeling more relaxed.
“You may want to sit down, the story is a bit long.” Lauren said
She then tell them Amelia’s tale, without skipping any details.
“Wow! That sure is an incredible story, and an uncommon robot…” Kate said.
“And now we know what happened to the females on this ship, poor ladies…” Felicio said.
Ellen remained silent for some seconds.
“I don’t like the idea of going right where the danger is, but ok, we’ll get her limbs back and rescue her as well, but you owe me one, Lauren.”
Lauren smiled.
“Thank you captain!”
Ellen stood up, put her shotgun on her shoulder and looked towards the dark corridor.
“Let’s go mowing this plant…”

I like the tiny skip we have at the beggining of this one; it allows for a nice change of pace without having to stop the narrative to go over all the things that already happened, and also allows for a neat little reunion as the crew gathers information and readies themselves for what's to come.
It was interesting to see kate being the one who analyzed and learned more about the goop that emanated from the plant, it does make sense, given that she was the only one who made direct contact with it.
A very unique substance that is as well; I assumed the plant our team is dealing with would have some sort of intelligence; but adapting itself to destroy the clothes of it's victims without damaging their bodies? That's awfully specific!
On a totally unrelated note, I find it funny that Kate found it worth mentioning that the slime has a strawberry flavour; she probably ran many tests to find that out, but I like to imagine that the very first thing she did while examining this substance coming from a mysterious plant in a dark planet was lick it to see what it tasted like xD
The small recap that we had as Ellen caught up with everything that happened was also pretty good to have, giving the Vixen an ample explanation as she silently judged the choices that Felicio made was pretty funny.
Seeing as the hazard they're dealing with only destroys clothing and synthetic material, I'm not afraid to say that, for a moment, I totally thought this was going a completely different way...
I find it very sweet that, even when facing what could potentially be a near / certain death situation, everyone still manages to be humorous and playful.
I would point out every tiny interaction that I've enjoyed witnessing, but that would take a pretty long while!
My absolute favorite has to be Ellen giving Felicio a death-threat to make sure he doesn't look at her butt.
The little scene where they're squished together is probably second on that list; even if it's a bit lewd, I found it hilarious.
And damn was it badass to get some much needed upgrades to the rescue team's arsenal! I must say, the weapons you gave each member of the recuing crew were pretty fitting for their respective personalities.
Of course, the bit with them finding Lauren was extremely sweet. I totally imagined she would be trembling in a corner helplessly, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that she actually showed legitimate excitement that was able to overcome her fluster caused by being naked in front of her friends.
And, despite being a bit scared of what might happen to the team as they try to retrieve the android's missing pieces, I can definitely say I'm happy Amelia might actually get a second chance.
Great job once again! I am loving every bit of this so far!
(Sorry if my comments tend to drag out a little bit, I find it hard to be brief while also complimenting every bit I liked about the stories.)

Well, I did it that way because I didn't wanted to rewrite the previous chapters 
About Kate doing the analysis, Doom told me she had some knowledge in science, so as Lauren isn't here (yet) she'll be the scientist aboard
Hehe, for the slime, looks like it's something like this 
About the strawberry flavour I thought exactly the same, for me she definitely licked it to see how it tasted
About Felicio's clues from ladies underwear, I thought it could be funny to put a line about it, and having Ellen to have the same reaction that Aria
Yes this chapter is way less dark thant the previous one(s), I wanted to had some funny interactions within the crew member to relax a bit
The death threat from Ellen is one of my favorite too, I also really liked Kate's reaction when Ellen asked her to keep an eye on Felicio, indeed the vixen is really enjoying it
About the scene in the "mouth" when they are squished together, I wasn't sure to put it in the story because, you're right, it's rather lewd, but it was also fun in a sense, and Doom was ok with it, so I published it
I thought this upgrade was kinda needed considering what is going to happen next
About Lauren, she wouldn't be shy in front of Felicio, and the vixen already saw her naked, indeed she doesn't enjoy showing off her body in front of them, but she's more comfortable with them, moreover, she was so happy to be rescued that she didn't really bothered with covering, and just wanted to give a hug to her friends
She's not saved yet, but yeah, that's the plan

An amazing chapter!
I loved the interaction between Felicio, Kate, and Ellen, especially when they had to undress.
And Kate's line about "I hope that's your gun again me!" was classic!
Ellen's threat to Felico was really good too!
I'm so glad they found Lauren, safe.
Let's hope they can save her friend too.
I like the choice of weapons you have too.
I figured you had the weapons from Aliens in mind when you described them.
I like Ellen's line about taking down the plant.
