Fygar, or also known as Fakedraconis flamma, is a species of reptile that lives in Tokyo underground surface. Despite it's appearance, the fygar is not a dragon but a relative of monitor lizards. They are many subspecies, but green is the most common. It's "wings" are actually skin that is used for mating and also a warning sign. This reptile can produce fire thanks to a special organ which has a special substance when come attach with air can become fire. They do this to fight off predators or rival fygars that want to take over their territory. Fygars are carnivores, preying on Uniducks, Pookas, and more. They often burn their food to make it easier to chew and gets rid of parasites in their prey's body. Fygars reprduce many offsprings from many clutches of eggs. When the ggs hatch they are on their own forming small pack of young fygars before departing when they are old enough. Fygars often live alone not bothering humans, but in some cases, some fygars manage to dig out of their underground homes and cause damage from their flames. To stop this, the government hire exterminators to areas where populations are at risk from fygar attacks. This is seen controversial from animal welfares as it involves blowing them up from pumps. But the goverment assures them that they are not killing the species, they are trying to get rid of certain populations to avoid further damage to human populations. Despite that they are alternatives where people made fire proof fences and put an odor that drives fygars out. Despite the extermination to some populations, fygars can breed quickly so this isn't an issue for now.
