Even more of my secret shame. Team Fortress 2 belt buckles revisited, this time I covered Soldier, Scout, Heavy, Medic, and the spy again, cause I quite like the spy one.These little fellas were made on special request and donated as prizes for a lan the clan had a few months back. And I gotta say, parting with the Medic one breaks my heart.
ANYWAYS, TF2 and all that good stuff belongs to Valve, yo.

XD I would ask for the Spy, the Heav, and maybe the Medic, but for all the trouble and fumes you went through, you deserve to keep them yourself.. Also, I commend you on going way out of your way to get the chemicas and stuff. XD My parents complain when I'm too picky about the color fabrics I want when it gets cosplay season.. I should tell them to be thankful I've yet to ask for sulfuric acid, lol!!

Hardware store, mostly, though the sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid and nitric acid need to be special ordered. (That first one, by the way, is what many serial killers use to dissolve bodies in. The point I'm trying to get to in a roundabout way is this isn't something you actually want to do.)

they're resist dyed, actually. The text is acid etched.

Unfortunatley the making of these involves some pretty heavy-duty electrochemistry. Definatley not something I'd endorse doing without the training.

It's really not something you want to do anywhere near where you live. Unless you have somewhere to store tubs of caustic lye and sulphuric acid as well as an exhaust system to deal with the explosive gases the reaction produces, I woulden't recommend it.
Trust me, if you could do this safely in a house, I'd still have a setup.
