Description

An illustration featuring Hasu and Aizahi .

I think their relation would be asymetrical. Aizahi would be in love with Hasu, yet even if Hasu care about her I don't think she would be in love with the little nomadic huntress. Even so she would probably have sex with Aizahi if she asked her.

Maybe I should stop imagining weird relation between my character, but I feel like if I didn't done it they would seem fake. Or at least fake to me. ><

UPDATE 02 MAY 19

The elbow had been redrawn and the green of her clothes is now a little darker.

Hello, I'm here with a comment from

I really like your choice of coloring with the characters. The cool colors of Hasu contrast well with the warm colors of Aizahi. Gives an indication of what their personalities might be like, as well. My only gripe with the coloring is that, when it comes to lineart, it probably would've been better to use a darker color, especially in Hasu's case. The light blue used to line Hasu makes it a bit difficult to see against the light color of her skin. The purple used to color her lashes and darker shadows would work a lot better as lineart. The line work for Aizahi is good for the most part, except her eye. The green made it hard to realize that she's looking up at Hasu. Again, just replace with a darker color to make it stand out more. I do like the textures you used to shade the characters too, but maybe try out different bushes to get different textures, so you can make certain areas more detailed, like the hair and clothes.

That's all I have in regards to the coloring. Aizahi's elbow looks a bit off (the only thing i can suggest for that is to look at some references of the human body). Other than that, the characters are drawn well, and I love how they're embracing each other.

And lastly the background. I think it's nice and simple, and doesn't need much detail, considering the main focus is the two characters. I feel like the grey-ish space is a bit dark though, and it makes the girls look BRIGHT. Contrasting is good and all, but sometimes too much of it can has some strange effects. Here's a nifty tutorial that's really helpful when it comes to how to color things without colors clashing together graveweaver.tumblr.com/post/17…

That's the end of my comment. This is an adorable piece, and i hope that my suggestions are helpful to you. Keep up the good work .

Thank for your comment ^^.

Indeed the eyes and elbow of Aizahi seem a bit off. I will try to corect it when I will find time.

The brush and texture are selfmade, so I'm glad they work well. But you're right I will try to make new and different one for my next pieces.

There is something I don't understand, while you say there is too much contrast between the back and foreground the link you give me advice to do as such. If I read the tutorial you linked, the problem could be the fact that Aizahi have two color of the same value.

Anyway may you have a nice day.
