Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, come all to an Orlesian masquerade ball! The is hosting a contest to give everyone a chance to show off their soon to be created Inquisitors by inviting them all to partake in the opulent finery that only Orlais has to offer. It is to be a night of revelry and high fashion, so be sure to wear your finest outfit since only the best will do! Remember Leliana's tale of Lady Elise and the real birds she had put into her hair? No fashion statement or accessory can be too outrageous in a city like Orlais!

The contest criteria for visual art entries is to show your Inquisitor in their finest Orlesian outfit. No detail is to small, no statement is too outlandish! This is also a great chance to show off your soon to be created Inquisitor.

For our writers, we would love for you to describe the night of the masquerade ball event. Is it a political disaster, a comic satire, a decadent, hedonistic event, or something else entirely? Tell us your version of the tale! You are free to explore the perspective of anyone involved - whether that be a familiar character from the Dragon Age stories or an OC of your own creation, so be inventive. It could told by an Inquisitor-to-be, an apostate-in-disguise, a political nob, a clueless servant, or even an usually sardonic Mabari dog!

We don't want to spoil the game for those who are trying to stay in a spoiler free zone, but with all the buzz of races open to creating an Inquisitor and the concept art-especially of Morrigan-in the Game Informer article-we thought that putting a grand event with Orlais as the backdrop would give all Inquisitors a fun event to attend to take their minds off the world's troubles for one night.

Contest Deadline: We are accepting submissions from June 1st to midnight EST August 31st. We will open up a voting ballot after all entries are received and give everyone a week to cast their votes before closing the polls on September 7th. Winners will be announced shortly after the voting closes.
