It's been a while since I really tried to animate something that isn't pixel art. Haha. I for one see some improvement in there!And this didn't even take me that long either. Only about... two hours maybe? Not bad!

My first critique on a deviant I don't know's work, sorry if it's terrible.
Well, the first thing that strikes me about this is that the animation is very smooth. It doesn't lag whatsoever, and the anatomy stays correct for every pose. However, one very small, negative point is that some white specks appear behind Shaymin's back leg in some frames, but still, you definitely have great skill in animation.
The design is adorable, as well as the movement of shuffling with it's head on the floor, and this makes a big impact on the viewer (as you no doubt learnt from ~emolgafanforever ). This cuteness is brought across by the thick lines, simplistic face and simple colours. None of these factors overcomplicate things, making Shaymin look almost child-like.
I also like that you've used a different art style to Sugomori's. Not only does it make Shaymin cuter, but it suits the 'scooting' more. The official Shaymin design doing this motion would look a bit odd, I think.
Overall, I think your originality deserves a four because it isn't your own character, but you have drawn it in your own style. You've shown awesome technique in the execution of the animation, and the impact of the adorable character is great, given the amount of people who have said how cute it is. the coolest thing about is how it moves is that it looks realistic ( apart from it is a cartoon ) which makes it look more artistic !!!
like i said at the begining it is so cute the way it walks with its chin dragging about on the floor and its bottom sticking up in the air which makes it look cute like i just said !!!
