Thanks, Kay! It's really just simple backlighting tinged blue and purple, and the diffuse lighting comes from using flares, soft light, and blur.

Backlighting in general I’m a big fan of, its so moody and interesting and the diffuse light of the foreground is a nice contrast to it!
