A little later than I'd like, but here's the winners of August's monthly painting poll! The theme was the short Pikachu's Vacation ,and the winners were Pikachu, Togepi, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charizard.
With school starting up and fall colors starting to show, it's good to look back and evaluate your summer. I think the times we have breaks and moments to ourselves are the times we get to know ourselves best.
And eat lots of ice cream.
Once a month, I post a poll with a choice of Pokemon after a theme, and then I draw the winning Pokemon! You can see the next poll here !

With today marking the end of summer and the beginning of Spring, this is more than appropriate to look back on your picture~ Your thoughts on reflecting the summer hits home for me, and I'd like to add a quote from Herman Melville I discovered recently:
"True Work is the necessity of poor humanity's earthly condition. The dignity is in leisure."
Anyway, it's extra sweeter because of the affinity I have for the old Kanto gang and all of these Pokemon in general. But what a mischievous, yet fun scene. 
But I guess now we have to eat Pumpkin Spice Waffles. Or better, Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream! 8D
