more experimenting, tried to do more environmental palettes (if thats what u call it) and try to mix in painting in here as well!! water is much harder to paint than animating it tbh. but w/e

What I find reallyfind engaging about this piece is the genuine striking colors - the way the green and blue contradicts with the purple background- it really wallops you and directly grasps your attention. The depth of field you have achieved with the persons body underneath the waves are realistic and detailed, the background nicely blurred, again, helps the subject to stand out.
The composition is fairly decent considering it isn't always facile to capture the look of moving water but I do feel that the persons hair might be disappearing into the water. I'd suggest keep the hair a bit dark in certain areas underneath the subjects hair when it reaches the air. Keeping the hair the same path it is but the color needs change or it to pop out to the viewer. I would keep it overall the way it is, everything is fantastic with this piece- anatomy and everything is dazzling but again, bring more focus to the reflection of hair since the light is directly underneath the subject.
Overall, nicely done capturing the idea of the subject underwater- with some appealing details, colors, focus and a denomination that seems to impeccably fit the painting. Nice work!
