Commander Shepard, out of medigel... again...I've started a playthrough on insanity, and to say the least, have been having some trouble with my squad deciding to sleep through the firefights.
PS CONSISTENCY IS FOR SQUARES
... and now you have the smudgy version of doom up. With me you have two choices, rough, fugly and unfinished, or smudged-to-death.

Just started playing ME2 on insanity. Oh mama... I spent almost an hour and a half trying to complete Zaeed's loyalty mission (Kasumi's was also hard too).
Thane's glasses get me... every. damn. time.

I admit, I'm a bit of a pussy, and I haven't played on insanity yet. However I do plan to once my latest playthrough gets to ME2. Well, at least try it. If I die every 10 seconds because I generally suck without my DLC weapons.... yeah.... that's not gonna last long. lol

I'm playing on hc and Garrus always only dies after Miranda. And not that she dies very often either...

You killing all enemys in the area after you lose some one especially against husks or out a medi gel your teamates will respawn when the area is clear of enemys

There were a lot of instances-- more in ME1 than ME2 --where I felt like I had to clear a room all by my goddamn self because my team mates would rarely shoot, or would shoot the walls DX

I thought of this veeeery piece as I was fending off the two heavy mechs in Garrus' loyalty mission myself while Garrus and Thane took peaceful naps behind their crates.

AKSHULLY I think they're unconscious. But yes this happens to me all the time, especially during the final part of the collector mission, then there's no one to distract Harbinger which isn't good. I tried doing it on Veteran and it was hard so I'll do it another time.
BUT YES IT IS VERY ANNOYING. Samara always stays alive much longer than Garrus. Garrus has a tendancy to just stand in one place while being fired at.

When I went to go get Talli, on the planet with the evil hot sun (forgot what it's called XD) Thane insisted on following me around, even though I specifically put him in a shaded place, idiot, but you gotta love him ^^ Garrus is pure win also.

Garrus dies sitting up a lot in my game. It really does look like he's just taking a snooze in the middle of a firefight. Hilarious, but effing annoying.

I know, they pretty much die immediately on insanity. What I always do is pick to characters that have high-damaging powers like warp or incineration, and make them hide completely behind cover. They don't need to see the enemies to use their powers, only Shepard does, so you just keep the safe behind a wall and pause every few seconds to throw an overload or something.

Thane's sunglasses = pure class. Yeah, I always make these two hide back. For an assassin, Thane really likes to run out in the open and get his ass riddled with bullet holes. And Garrus, no. Do not play hero, young man.

I really don't envy you with Insanity. I had enough trouble dealing with those putzes on Veteran. I've heard horror stories about varrens with armor, though.
Also, Thane's Ridiculous Sunglasses = hells yes.
