Urgh, this one was more MONEY than it was work. The pieces themselves are simple: cardboard, fabric, etc. But it was the most expensive costume I've ever put together. The wig was over 40 dollars. The fabric for the sheer drape was 15. The basic black bodysuit was a bit over 20. And then I had to alter the bodysuit SEVERELY. It spent about 5 days total constructing the costume, which included a lot of fitting, refitting, and sewing of stretchy material while I was wearing it.

Ooh, working with that fabric sounds tricky, especially while you're wearing it. Is it comfortable to wear? The price doesn't sound too horrible though, I still shudder to think how much the materials for the Graverobber were for me, haha Looks like money well spent anyways though, the costume came out great ^.^

It's SOOO comfortable to wear, but that's because I tailored it to my body. I imagine it's rather less than comfortable for people to be around me while I'm wearing it, though... My roommate (who took the pictures) was loathe to do so. Hopefully that was just her though, because I am hoping to go to PAX this summer. If I get hold of a ticket, I'll be debuting Daphne there.

I can't see why it would be uncomfortable to be around you in it, it's a nice outfit, it looks good on you. I'm sure most folks will be far less hesitant about the outfit, but no matter how they react Dragon's Lair is excellent, and you should wear the costume anyways ^.^
