Amazing photo. The slight sepia look and the vibrant sky really make the mosque stand out. Middle Eastern archetecture is always interesting to see (sorry if the mosque was made by another culture, don't know to much about the middle east but I like the music and structures).

yeah it is middle eastern I guess - the Mosque is in turkey and follows traditional Ottoman designs.

So middle eastern buidling designs came around during the Ottoman Empire? If you could give me a better description I might understand. Still is an impressive building to see though.

no. this particular style of mosque (notice the thin round minarets) is indicative of ottoman period architecture. middle eastern architecture has a long and diverse history dating back milennia before the ottoman period... and muslim architectural designs predate the ottoman empire by nearly over 600 years.
