Some characters I've had in my head for a little while, to show off my portfolio. Reisende means 'traveler', I believe. The wolf is called Bjorn (bear) as I always make my wolves look like doggy bears >
And Munnin the raven shares the name of one of Odin's ravens. Ayup. Bonus points for anyone who spots norse mythology references in Reisendes outfit! Hint: there's two.EDIT: Redrew Bjorn entirely and changed Munnin's beak. Bjorn still isn't perfect, but much better than the last one I think!

This is a very nice ref. page if I may say so. I love you use of yellow lighting and purplish shadows. The only thing I see, you could improve on, is the faces and anatomy of the two animals.
You need a little work on the wolf's feet. The hind paw is too flat. And there is something wrong with its face, but I can't quite tell you what it is. Everything is good on the crow (or raven) except the mouth, which is too big or open too wide.
Other than that; I love your shading technique its very painterly. Keep up the good work, and I really hope this helps you for the better!

The shading here is amazing! I love her design, and Bjorn looks so cute c:

The knee pads look like horseshoes. and I count 8. Sleipnir!
This is done beautifully, especially the shading!
But there are some things about the wolf: The paws look like bear paws. Wolf toes are not all the same size, like fingers. I think this and this are good references.
Also, his neck is bend up to high, I guess that pose would hurt...
The hind leg and the tail look good, though the head is a little bit to doglike, I miss the fluffy fur here.
So much for that. Btw, I gotta ask, is Reisende male or female...? ^^° I might be blind, but I'm really not sure...sorry.

haha, hence why i named him bjorn! no excuse really, i should practice my wolves. he's getting redone tomorrow anyways, so we'll see if i can't improve him
