Soooo sad...! I really think you should keep the images with their origin colors. Perhaps reduce their saturation first and give them back when you hover over them, but this page needs more color, to me. Because when I go on your page, the first thing i wanna do is leave it. On one hand it's light, but on the other hand it's really heavy (for the heart). Sorry ^^ I give you my opinion. But proportions are really really good.

Very nice, however the background flashes white before the background image loads.
Just change the line
background:url(img/tlo.jpg) repeat;
to something like
background:#292021 url(img/tlo.jpg) repeat;

Hi,
I like this design : color, background texture, clean layout.
On the online version,I don't know if it's normal but, on my screen, the "TeX Gyre Heros" font isn't very legible under 13px. The "r" letter is weird no ? I found it much legible when I turn it into Arial.
Anyway you've done a good work man

You are right, it somehow looks flat, but because it is so neutral the porftfolio elements really "pop" when you hover over them. I like it.
