Decided to practice for by drawing all of the faces of the competitors. This was a lot of fun. I hope I kept everyone in character.Please forgive me if I don't put all of the ownership marks here. Please just visit this journal for that: [link]
Butterfly being pretty and Rigel being confident.
Three of the goofy girls: Black Hole being cheeky, Marin being happy and Chrysus being hyper.
The team of Youseiatae, Kheldar and Alenia. Youseiatae is all stoic while Alenia is laughing at Kheldar's ADD.
Phantom and Star Comet, a very opposite duo.
I had so much fun drawing Bandersnatch!!! Europa looking fondly at Bandersnatch who's in a glaring battle with Quinox.
Pontos, no clue if I made him manly enough, and I wasn't sure how to do his eyes. Baird is trying to look competitive but her civi form is showing through a bit as little hearts appear in her eyes.
Hemera being a diva and Nyx looking on slightly aggravated.
NUT! Had to draw her big as she's my first opponent. So cute!
SilverSnow all annoyed at being out of the spotlight while S. Alpha stares at her.......well, it was supposed to be face but my hand seriously slipped when drawing the pupils... yeah
S. Beta is a glaring at his partner's stupidity. Off to the side is Cardgames being awesome.
whew!! No Polaris as I think I know how to draw her by now.

Good idea. I really need to practice drawing my opponents and even decide what style to do the comic in!
Pontos looks good. I know I get all nervous and somehow forget all anatomy when I got to draw a guy. XD His eyes are fine, they are all blue unless he looks far to the side. And if he comes to me that manly from now on I'll be happy. I just don't want him to get the full on, super willowy, girly-girl, bishounen treatment all the time.
My fav tho is angry Quinox. Angry faces are so fun!

Thanks, that clears it up. I was a little confused with those eyes. I know you said he wasn't really buff, so I tried to keep him trim, without making his face too feminine.

Yeah, I'll probably keep his eyes just the one color for simplicity's sake. I'm undermining the anime eyes! Hehehehe.
If you want to draw him buffer, it would be fine, but he looks good as is. I put that he was leaner because what he looks like now pretty much maxes out my ability to draw muscles on people. XD That and I think he'd stand out reeeeeeeeaaaally badly if he was a huge muscle man in the midst of all these waify-looking gals. lol

This is so awesome, I hope to have time to draw all the contestants too sooner or later.
The fun thing is that I'm still kinda getting to know SilverSnow, so when I read she's annoyed for not being in the spotlight... I realised she would probably be annoyed by that indeed... like I said even though I created her I'm still kinda getting to know her.
